On Monday October 15th, 2018 our Erasmus+ partners visited our school for the first time.  Our school's personnel welcomed each partner school with great excitement.  The school's head teacher Mrs. Christoula Chrysiliou gave them a tour of the school.

The second day of Erasmus+ staff mobility to Cyprus has begun. We are visiting the Apostolos Varnava Ammochostou Special School in Liopetri, participating in lessons and other activities, as well as discussing project tasks, evaluation schemes and ideas for the new project.

When you enter the school. you can see very exciting posters about Erasmus + project. The information about project partners shows that we are different, but we all want to be safe in our life. During our visit all partners created friendship tree. We left not only the colorful handprints, but we also left a piece of ourselves. Being together we can make a safer world.

The Cypriot gastronomy has amazed us since we arrived... food with flavour and love. Spices and local products have an important place at the Cypriot table. Eating together is a ritual that Cypriots still cherish no matter the passing of time. The food is simple but rich: healthy, nutricious, natural and surprising. We were pleasantly surprised by many vegetables, various types of meat, the way bread is baked, the use of spices and the good wine.
